Photographer's comments: "This photo is of a chair inside the Tifany Room. What inspired me to take 
this photo is the shadow that was cast by the chair and how the light fell on the tiles on the wall."

Photographer's comments: "Photo taken about three years ago as I recall - he was the "Town Greeter" 
and waved at all those that drove by. Unfortunately, he passed away and I never knew his name. 
He always brought a smile to people's faces - a reminder of what a special village Irvington is."

The Irvington History Center at the McVickar House, 131 Main Street, is open to the public on Thursdays and Saturdays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The History Center is closed for the month of August and will reopen September 8, 2007.
